What we cover
We report on the technology that changes how people work and live: artificial intelligence, phones and computers, software, startups and the ecosystems around them. We publish news, explainers and hands-on reviews, with a particular eye on what these products mean for readers in Bangladesh.
How we review
Every review is based on hands-on use of the product, for long enough to live with it rather than just unbox it. We test in the conditions our readers actually use their devices in, and we say so when a review is based on shorter or limited testing.
Our scores run from 1 to 10 and mean the same thing across every category:
| 9–10 | Exceptional | Best in class. Buy it without hesitation. |
| 7–8 | Very good | Excellent with a few trade-offs worth knowing. |
| 5–6 | Good | Does the job, but there are better options. |
| 3–4 | Weak | Significant flaws. Only for very specific needs. |
| 1–2 | Avoid | Broken, unsafe or badly overpriced. |
Independence
Companies do not pay for coverage and do not see reviews before they are published. When a manufacturer lends us a review unit, we say so in the review. If we ever earn a commission from links in an article, the article will carry a clear disclosure.
Corrections
We fix mistakes quickly and openly. When we correct a factual error after publication, we add a note at the end of the article explaining what changed.
